| IT and Cloud administrator with proven experience in handling servers, hardware, OS and network configurations. |
| Role |
| Handle cloud server configurations, monitor network, disk and CPU usage and provision hardware apart from system administration activities for clients, notebooks, and Internet hosting. |
| Troubleshoot and rectify issues related to network, disk and servers. |
| Engage with internal and external customers for ensuring maximum uptime of hardware and software resources. |
| Mandatory Skills Required |
| 1. Good knowledge of installation and management of Windows and Linux client and server systems |
| 2. Familiarity with various flavours of Windows (Home, Enterprise, etc) |
| 3. Good experience in setting up and configuring networks on Windows and Unix/Linux systems, including NAT, port forwarding, router configuration, routing, etc. |
| 4. Familiarity with virtualization and running virtual machines with VMWare, VirtualBox, Hyper-V etc |
| 5. Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Perl, shell, BAT, etc) |
| 6. Ability to troubleshoot system and network problems, including those caused by presence/absence of anti-virus and firewall systems |
| 7. Monitor hosted environment (AWS) and tune parameters as required (web server, cache server, RDBMS etc) |
| 8. Periodic backup management |
| 9. Manual intervention for fixing data/config issues as and when required |
| 10. Assisting data/CS team in implementing data changes etc |
| 11. Deploying application upgrades etc |
| Other Desirable Skills |
| 1. Experience in handling provisioning of resources, monitoring usage and handling alerts. |
| 2. AWS certification is highly desirable |
| 3. Familiarity with best practices of DevOps |
Looking for candidates who can join us immediately, having 2-3 years of experience and the CTC would be 1 lac per month
