As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing various financial activities to
ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. You will play a critical role in maintaining financial
records, preparing financial reports, and supporting financial decision-making processes. This

- Financial Reporting: Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, including income
statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide accurate and timely financial
information to senior management.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of annual budgets and long-term
financial forecasts, monitoring actual performance against budget, and providing variance
- General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts, ensuring
accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable
functions, including invoice processing, vendor payments, customer collections, and
- Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all tax regulations, including the preparation and
submission of tax returns and liaising with tax authorities as necessary.
- Audit Support: Coordinate and provide support during internal and external audits, ensuring
timely and accurate responses to auditor inquiries.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis, trend analysis, and cost analysis to support
business decision-making and identify areas for cost optimization.
- Cash Management: Manage cash flow by forecasting cash requirements and optimizing cash
balances to meet the company’s operational needs.
- Financial Systems: Assist in the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and
software to streamline financial processes.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and
training to ensure their professional growth and development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; – Proven experience as a Senior —Accountant in an FMCG or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Tally ERP Software Knowledge is a must.
