| Brief description of Job | Responsible for developing new software applications as well as updating and modifying existing applications. He / She shall process users’ needs to build the customized software application, by designing prototype applications, implementing, and testing. |
| Experience | 1 – 2 years; smart candidates with less experience also welcome |
| Educational Qualification | Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Engineering – Computer Science / Electronics & Communication; |
| Skill set – Essential | ➢ Sound software engineering knowledge ➢ Knowledge of software design & programming principles ➢ Excellent analytical skills ➢ Good in programming languages such as C/C++/Java ➢ Operating systems exposure: Windows, Linux |
| Skill set – Desired | ➢ Exposure to development environments – e.g., QT ➢ Knowledge of validation & verification methodologies |
| Other Attributes | ➢ Excellent Oral/Written Communication Skills ➢ Willing to take ownership, ambitious ➢ Aptitude to learn new technologies & skills |
| Roles & Responsibilities | ➢ Develop software solutions to meet customer needs ➢ Create and implement the source code of new applications ➢ Test and debug source code ➢ Evaluate existing applications and perform updates and modifications ➢ Prepare technical handbooks for the implemented new applications ➢ Participate in integration and validation activities ➢ Support software QA activities ➢ Provide post-delivery support ➢ Interface with hardware design / development and involve in system integration, where necessary |
