Software Engineer – Print Head Drive Electronics and Integration

A leading trading and manufacturing company specializing in printers, printing machineries, and consumables such as spare parts, paper, ink, dyes, etc. is looking for Service Engineers.

We have multiple openings for software engineers to work on development of the print head drive
electronics and integration for our industry-leading industrial inkjet printing systems. You will be
part of a team creating innovative solutions to connect and control key components of the print
head module including the print head board, drive electronics, sensors and more using various
programming languages and our proprietary SDKs.
Responsibilities

• Develop firmware apps to precisely control print head functions – drop formation, nozzle firing, etc.
• Program the print head drive electronics board to enable print head connection and operation
• Design end-to-end solutions for connecting drive electronics to the print head board
• Integrate firmware with hardware components like motors, circuit boards, sensors.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of the solution.
• Test and debug system performance to ensure seamless integration
• Create documentation for electronics, firmware and software solutions
• Maintaining and updating software to ensure it remains compatible with the print head board.
• Collaborating with other programmers and engineers to develop new features for the print head
  board.
• Providing technical support to customers who use the print head board.
  Required Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering & Electrical Engineering or
  related field
• 3+ years experience programming drive electronics/print heads
• Experience with SDK kits and programming languages like C, C++, C#, JAVA, Python
• Understanding of PCB design and electronics
• Knowledge of print engine subsystems and imaging principles
• Ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues
• Strong analytical approach and problem-solving skills
