Role :

Responsibilities:

Organization Build

  1. Hire, mentor and train a team of Senior Operational Managers, Line Manager and
    drive operational excellence
  2. Implement defined organization service delivery culture and drive customer
    experience behaviors in the delivery organization

Delivery Management

  1. Engineer and build effective and efficient process models by defining
    improvement areas, identifying the right internal controls and implementation
    methodologies
  2. Identify areas of process improvements, digital intervention and implement in
    your towers
  3. Work with Senior Leadership and drive optimization projects
  4. Be responsible for compliance to organization process, statutory regulations and
    drive relevant outcomes
  5. Strategize Knowledge retention processes and help build a knowledge bank,
    curated training material for delivery teams

Digital and Automation projects

  1. Identify areas of automation, strategize, work with the relevant teams to
    implement digital transformation projects
  2. Build Business case and ROI models for digital transformation

Tower Profitability

  1. Drive Tower level Profitability on client engagements by ensuring effective cost
    management
  2. Define and drive organizational metrics such as Cost per Transaction, Volumes per
    person etc

QUALIFICATION : BCOM/Mcom/ MBA from premier institute

EXPERIENCE : M3 15-18 years , M4 15-20 years

Desired Profile

  1. Should have relevant experience of 11-16 years in a BPO/Shared Service Center
  2. MBA Finance from a reputed university
  3. Good hands-on experience in overall finance and accounts, with understanding on
    accounting principles, reporting requirements, key controls and risks of the process.
    Good people and client management skills set. Ability to set up, streamline
    processes/procedures and improve the same.
  4. Experience in handling team size of 50 and above
  5. Working knowledge on Oracle Applications (desirable) in Tax or in any other Financial ERP.

QUALIFICATION: Qualified CA/CMA

EXPERIENCE:  20+ years (Post Qualification)

LOCATION: Bangalore

Role:

Passionate and result-oriented individual who can build and lead large functional teams and be able to influence organizational development and culture

Strategize, define and drive delivery organizations with respect to R2R and ensure optimum performance on client engagements (10 sellers). Own and drive delivery KPI’s and SLA’s and improve engagement quality with the client and their end partners [customers and vendor partners]

Define and drive operational excellence projects to improve effectiveness, efficiency in functional process models

The key responsibilities of the TAX Tower Lead include:

  • Starting transformation and automation implementations
  • End to end submission of Financial Statement, Management reports, forecasting Analysis in close collaboration with business leaders to achieve a high degree of accuracy, control, and transparency in financial information of the sellers.
  • Facilitate seamless flow of information to auditors for the sellers   

Coordination with the auditors of the sellers in connect with Statutory Audits

  • Regular monthly financial reviews with P2P, O2C tower leads and driving business planning, strategic and annual planning process – both capacity and efficiency plan

Desired Profile

  • Should be a Chartered Accountant with relevant experience of 20+ years in a Shared Service Center/E commerce entity.
  • Experience within TAX - transformation, transitions, and automation
  • Extensive experience in leading end to end TAX process.
  • Experience within a shared service center
  • Excellent stakeholder management, people handling, and communication skills.
  • Experience in handling team size of 75 and above
  • Working knowledge on Oracle Applications (desirable) in Tax or in any other Financial ERP  In-depth working knowledge of Indirect Taxes - Especially Service Tax/GST and STPI Regulations
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Compliance especially provisions relating to Tax withholding (TDS)- guide the client on the TDS applicability.
  • Strategic thinker/understand the big picture/ask the right questions.
